In 1993 I started my own dive training. My first course was in Malaysia and was a gift. I remember well that I had the idea that I wouldn't finish the course .... After getting my Open Water Diver cerificate, I didn't dive for 10 years. Sometimes on a holiday one or two dives, but not really structural.
Since 2002, I got caught with the virus. After a week of diving in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, I was totally addicted. The following year I achieved my Advanced Open Water Diver through PADI and promised myself a diving holiday at least twice a year. No idea I would end up as an instructor.
In 2005 everything went rapidly. In that year I reached Dive Master and I got my Instructors certificate and in 2006 I was already in Thailand and Malaysia to teach. Wonderful experience! In that year I also taught in The Netherlands and at the end I was busy educating kids as Seal Team divers. That is really cool!! Totally enjoyed that!
At the end of 2006 I went to Curacao to start teaching there. Here I stayed for 10 months with a lot of fun. Now back in my own country I want to share my experiences with a lot of divers and non-divers or should I say not-yet-divers.
I hope to see you soon at one of our courses or dive trips.
Happy bubbles,
Nicole
